An early 18th Century chalice on a domed circular foot and with an inverted bell-shaped bowl, the cylindrical stem with a large compressed spherical knop, the base engraved with a cross and with Latin presentation inscription dated 1724, bearing maker's initials only, A.S. with a crown above, probably Irish Provincial - 6½in.
