An Imari baluster jar and domed cover with a knop finial painted and gilt with shaped panels of peonies and chrysanthemums below a band of further chrysanthemum flowerheads and a large stylised kiku overlapping onto the cover (minute glaze crack to the body, crack through the neck, damaged cover) -- 14in. high, 17th/18th Century.
