Gustavus Leonard, Henry G. Reed and Charles E. Barton were the partners of the firm Leonard, Reed & Barton and successors to the Taunton Britannia Manufacturing Company of Taunton, Massachusetts in 1835. A fairly large company employing twelve men, they produced communion vessels, tea sets and lamps. The company's name was changed to Reed & Barton after the death of Gustavus Leonard in 1840.
