Each painted in colours with a putto in clouds, that on the cup holding an arrow, that on the saucer holding a quiver filled with arrows, reserved on the white ground within a gilt ciselé foliate cartouche of grasses, flower sprays and garlands, within gilt dentil rims

Lot Essay

Charles-Nicolas Dodin was active at Vincennes and Sèvres as a painter 1754-1802.
