Contains Hemingway's second appearance (his second published story) in this, his high school literary magazine: "A Matter of Colour," a tale about a crooked fight as told by a veteran prize-fight manager; Tabula, Vol. XXIII, No. 3, March 1917, decorated wrappers, loose in the covers, some slight edge chipping to wrappers. Contains three poems by Hemingway: "The Worker," "Athletic Verse," and "The Inexpressible"; Senior Tabula, June 1917, tan wrappers printed in blue and gold, most of spine and some other blank portions at edges renewed (the sides backed), slight renewing to a few blank corners of fly and ad leaves. Hemingway's Senior Class yearbook, containing a fictionalized "Class Prophecy" (pp. 57-62) by him and numerous photographs of him (including the formal one as a graduating senior); all Oak Park, Ill.: Oak Park High School, together 3 vols., 8vo, original wrappers, half morocco cases.
