Lot Essay

The poem Phantasmagoria (pp.3-57) is apparently marked up for recitation, in pencil and blue crayon, by (?)Denman. It would appear that the main part of the performance was intended as a duet: the conversational to-and-fro being indicated by 'M'[e] and 'G'[host] at the appropriate points in the margins.
