Heraldry -- Two lge. 4to scrap albums containing 225 manuscript pencil, and pen and ink coats-of-arms, many on vellum with manuscript attributions, hand-coloured and heightened in gilt, the largest 9½ x 7½ in., with instructions how and in what way the crests must be altered to become the arms of another member of the aristocracy, and 40 illuminated manuscript initials, the largest 4 x 5 in., excised from 14th, 15th and 16th century manuscripts, contemporary blue morocco, extremities rubbed, cloth sleeves and slipcases.
