This is the Japanese reissue in two volumes of the second edition of the Dutch Grammatica (1822) and of the Syntaxis (1810). The first edition of the Grammatica of Nederduitsche Spraakunst was published in 1814 as a completion of a set of Dutch grammars begun by an original Dutch grammar of 1793 by L. van Bolthuis [Beknopte Nederduitsche Spraakkunst]. Van Bolthuis' grammar was reissued in 1803 under the title Rudimenta of Gronden der Nerderduitsche Taal (1803) and a sequel to it was published in 1810, the original of the Syntaxis... above. The expanded Grammatica of Nederduitsche Spraakkunst was published in 1814 and the second edition in 1822. (2)
