A Chinese blue and white tapering oviform jar with high neck painted with butterflies and flying insects above sprays of roses and scattered leaves, a band of stiff leaves to the neck (chips to foot rim and crack to base) -- 9¾in. high, Transitional; and a blue and white bowl loosely painted to the exterior with flowering shrubs, chrysanthemums and lotus, the interior with further flowers -- 8in. diam, Kangxi.
