Architectural Cadence served as a frontispiece to the catalogue Charles Sheeler, A Retrospective Exhibition, Art Galleries of the University of California, Los Angeles, October 1954. The margins of the 100 impressions tipped in as frontispieces were trimmed to a smaller size than the present example. Richard Miller founded Tiber Press, the printmaking studio where this screenprint was editioned.
