With mast and boom, standing and running rigging and deck details including hatches, companionway, winches, rope coils, tiller, binnacle dinghy and other details. Finished in red and black with copper boot top and basswood deck. Mounted on two brass columns on inlaid base. Glazed case

Lot Essay

Britannia won the Queen Victoria Cup, Hunter's Quay, 1.7.1894 beating the 1893 America's Cup winner vigilant, but was not chosen to race in the America's Cup that year. In all she won over 200 races during her career.
