With masts, derricks and rigging dressed overall, and deck details including anchors, winch, cleats, bollards, deck rails, companionways, deck winches, hatches, bridge and superstructure, ventilators, engine room lights, aft steering position with appropriate equipment and twenty two lifeboats in davits and other details. Finished in White Star livery. Stand.

Oceanic principal dimensions : - L.O.A. : 214.6ft; Beam : 20ft; Gross tonnage : 17.272; Crew : 405

Oceanic was the first vessel to exceed the Great Eastern in length (but not tonnage), in 1900 she was struck by lightening; 1901 collided with and sank the 'Kincora' in fog; 1905 Mutiny on board over staff conditions; 1907 (May) last sailing from Liverpool; 1914 (July) made her last sailing (to New York) from Southampton; (Aug) posted to 10th Cruiser Squadron on the Northern Patrol; (Sept 8) Wrecked in calm and clear weather 3 n m. S.E. of Foula Island; 1979 last worthwhile remains salvaged.
