RMS Queen Mary principal dimensions : - L.O.A. : 1018ft; Beam : 118ft; Tons : 80,773. She was built by John Brown & Co. Clydebank and launched 26.9.1934. She captured the Blue Ribbon of the Atlantic 19.8.1936 at 30.14 knots over 2,907 nautical miles
