stamped with signature and foundry mark and numbered on the top of the base 'Degas [Lugt 658] A.A. HÉBRARD CIRE PERDUE HER.1/D'--bronze with dark brown patina

Original wax version executed 1882-1885; this bronze version cast 1919-1921, letter D in an edition of 20 with two additional casts reserved for the Degas heirs and the founder Hébrard
