A South Italian pottery strainer of circular form, the central depression with draining holes, with horizontal side handle on rim, with dark glazed bands -- 8in. (20.3cm) across handle; a similar pottery skyphos with lid, the shoulder with two vertical handles and four small knob projections, decorated with encircling lines and herringbone frieze, one handle repaired -- 5¼in. (13.3cm.) high; and a miniature skyphos, with two horizontal handles -- 1in. (2.8cm.) high, circa 4th Century B.C.
