An Imari bowl with slightly everted rim painted and gilt to the interior with scrolling peony branches, the exterior with panels of chrysanthemum sprays and stylised heads on geometric grounds (1in.crack to the rim, slight gilt rubbing) -- 9¾in. diam, circa 1700.
