A Charles X mahogany and gilt gesso commode with overall raised gilt decoration of anthemia and scrolling foliage, with rectangular top above two overhanging frieze drawers flanked by Neo Classical maidens with a further two drawers below flanked by column uprights, on plinth base, slight damage to the gesso decoration -- 48in.
