A pair of George III beaded candlesticks on square section, each on a rising base with later presentation inscription and with foliate-decorated shoulders, ovoid sockets and detachable nozzles, Sheffield 1779, each struck with the maker's mark of John Scofield of London - 12in, fitted with conforming Victorian three-light candelabrum tops with reeded scrolling branches, Charles Stuart Harris, London 1880 - overall height 18in, in a plush-lined oak case with brass drop handles and vacant brass cartouche.
