A red japanned cabinet on giltwood stand with dentil moulded cornice above a pair of arched glazed doors enclosing shelves, the sides and spandrels with gilt chinoiserie decoration, the stand with Vitruvian scroll frieze and shell and scroll carved apron on foliate headed cabriole legs with hairy paw feet, the cabinet early 18th Century, later japanned -- 47½in. (121cm.) wide.
