A Chinese ivory tusk carved as a standing scholar wearing flowing robes and a tabbed hat, his left arm held before his chest (hand missing, old damages and wear) -- 11½in.high; and another similar ivory carving of a standing bearded sage wearing a tabbed hat and flowing robes, his head turned slightly to the right (old wear) -- 9in.high, both Ming dynasty.
