A Chinese export part teaset comprising a pair of teapot stands, a pair of spoon trays, a bowl and two saucers, each painted in iron-red, en grisaille and gilt with roundels of birds above a pagoda among foaming waves within fluted borders of panels of waves and geometric patterns, the undersides with moulded lotus plants (minor damage) -- the spoon tray 4¾in. diam, all Qianlong.
