A fine 5in. gauge model of the G.N.R. Stirling Single 4-2-2 locomotive and tender No. 664 originally built by E.W. Twining and restored by R. Hammond, 1985-89 -- 13¾ x 52in.(35 x 132cm)
With brazed copper boiler and scale backhead fittings including water gauge (part missing), twin clack/injector valves and regulator with locking screw. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with inside Stephenson's link gear with pierced eccentrics and weighted way bar, drain cocks, jibbed and bolted big ends with dummy oil pots, sanding boxes, brake gear (disconnected) with spring loaded shoes to driving wheel, working leaf and coil springing and plated wooden buffer beam, riveting, steps, hand and lamp irons. Tender details include draw-bar buffers, leaf springing, brake gear, plated wooden buffer beams, check couplings, steps and hand irons. Finished in G.W.R. livery and lining
