A famille rose armorial plate painted and gilt with a central coat of arms and the motto 'Copia Deest' within a spearhead border and peony and chrysanthemum sprays -- 9in. diam, Qianlong.The arms are possibly of Downes of Cheshire and Essex, circa 1740.
