The GF.81 camera appeared in 1981 and was made by Gian Paolo Ferro of Udine. Twenty of each of two models were made in polished or brushed gold.

A 25mm. diameter GF 81 ring-ring camera no. 14 with polished gold-plated body, helical focusing, depth of field indicator, rotary shutter, f/2 lens, wheel stops and removable waistlevel viewfinder, in turned wood case, ten packets of unexposed disc films and two sets of instructions in Italian and English, in maker's box.
