A French kingwood, tulipwood and parquetry commode with canted D-shaped bardiglio marble top inlaid overall with trellis-work with fruitwood and ebonised stringing, with three graduated walnut lined drawers and two bowed doors each enclosing two shelves, flanked and divided by simulated fluting on square tapering legs, part 18th Century, re-veneered -- 48½in. (123cm.) wide.
