An Arita cylindrical vase with everted rim and applied decoration to the shoulder, painted in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt with bands of scrolling foliage surrounded by peonies and grasses -- 8¾in. high, 18th Century; an Hirado model of seated laughing karako with his hands held out infront of him -- 5in. high; and an Imari bowl decorated to the exterior with pine trees and scrolling flowers -- 6in. diam.
