A late Victorian three-piece part-fluted moulded circular batchelor tea service in the Regency taste, each on a rim foot and with an applied gadroon, shell and foliate rim, the teapot with part-fluted rising curved spout, ebonised wood scroll handle and part-fluted slightly-domed hinged cover with fluted wood finial, the milk jug and sugar basin with leaf-capped scroll handles, Walker and Hall, Sheffield 1893 and 1894 - height of teapot 4¼in, 24.25oz. gross.See Frontispiece (3)
