A George IV compressed moulded circular teapot on a floral and foliate-chased rising circular foot and with a polished wood scroll handle, foliate rim, chased and leaf-capped scroll spout and domed hinged cover with button finial, ornately-chased and embossed with rococo flowers, foliage and scale-work and with two rococo cartouches, one engraved with an armorial, the other with two crests, maker's mark indistinct, London 1827 - 4½in, 18oz. gross.
