Weinman made several bronze portraits for studies of Colonel Cummings' Indians. Womboli, also known as Little Eagle, was the daughter of Cheif Blackbird. This work was modeled in 1902 and was one of several studies exhibited by Weinman at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in 1904 in St. Louis.
