A late Victorian walnut, ebonised and parcel-gilt overmantel, in the manner of Charles Bevan, the crenallated superstructure with spindle-turned gallery above rectangular bevelled mirror flanked by baluster-turned uprights enclosing carved panels emblematic of Spring and Summer, above a shelf, stamped T Huton, the spindled gallery damaged -- 74in. (188cm.) wide.
