Tomlinson, thanking him for a party and continuing: 'Called on Sassoon yesterday at Teffont, lovely Wilts village, but was told that he was just about to have lunch, & then, when my name had been taken (& returned) that he was also out walking, so I didn't see him either way. Now I know how it feels when I see strangers & go out of the north window into the wild wood'', in original envelope; and 3 other a.l.s. to Tomlinson by Rebecca West and Richard Aldington. (4)
