A fine builders model of the steel screw steamer 'Embessage' of Newcastle, built for Hall Brothers Steam Ship Co. Newcastle-upon-Tyne by Joseph Thompson & Sons Ltd. Sunderland 1935, yard No. 572 -- 14 x 54in.(35.5 x 137cm)

With masts, radio aerial, derricks and rigging and deck details including anchors, winch, fairleads, bollards, hose reels, ventilators, deck rails, companionways, cargo hatches, deck winches, superstructure with wheelhouse, wing bridges and wheelhouse over with ship's wheel and binnacle, engine room telegraphs, lockers, stove pipe, engine room lights, staid funnel, aft steering position, two life boats and ship's boat with bottom boards in davits. The hull, finished in maroon, pink and white with white decks is fitted with four blade propeller and rudder. Mounted on four brass columns, original mahogany glazed case
