A pair of Cantonese vases with flaring necks and moulded Buddhistic lions to the shoulders, each painted to one side with ducks among lotus flowers, peonies and leaves, the reverse with further birds perched on a fruiting tree among peonies, the rim with a band of ruyi heads (crack to base of one, chips to rims of both) -- 23¾in. high.
