A rare 16mm colour film RAW ENERGY shot in early 1977, 52 min. long documenting the music and times of the Punk Rock invasion, presented by Punk film star Jordon the film which was banned from U.K. T.V. includes backstage interviews, on stage performances and the last known filmed interview with Marc Bolan, other artists featured include: The Sex Pistols, Eric Hall, Simon Draper, Mark P, Danny Baker and Chris Needs of Vox, The Slits, The Clash, Eddie & The Hot Rods, Billy Idol, Generation, Andrew Czviousky, Adverts, Siouxie Sioux and Steve Severin of Siouxie & The Banshees and Polystyrene - sold with copyright to the visual material alone, the copyright of the soundtrack is not included in the sale.

Lot Essay

RAW ENERGY was banned from T.V. and Radio Stations in the U.K. as a result of a ban on broadcasting Punk Runk invoked after The Sex Pistols had sworn on Thames T.V.. The film was premiéred in the National Film Theatre's Season Rock On Film, November 3rd, 1990 as a double-bill to The Great Rock & Roll Swindle.
