A late 19th-Century oxidised brass portable 1¾ Inch transit telescope, unsigned, possibly by Latimer Clarke, No. 864, the 18ins. (45.7cm.) long body tube with axis carrying the vertical circle, divided in 4 quadrants, with silvered scale, vernier, magnifier and bubble level, with cross-bubble and angular eyepiece and later wooden stand, in fitted pine case - 21¼ins. (54cm.) long.
