A large flaring beaker vase painted and heavily gilt with a continuous scene of Kannon and arhats between borders of dragons and Satsuma mon (some restoration to the rim, minor gilt rubbing overall) -- 18in. high. signed with an inscription denoting it as a souvenir from Japan, under a gilt Satsuma mon.
