A fine gentleman's banyan of Indian chintz printed with exotic flowers including tulips and carnations with a narrow border of leaves at the cuffs and around the neckline to the hem, lined with blue silk, mid-18th century (some neat repairs to the neck and near the left-hand pocket and very slight damp stains)
