An Ottoman silver inlaid steel pencase of rectangular tubular form with ridged ends, one side with an inkwell, each side engraved and inlaid with cusped cartouches enclosing floral motifs or calligraphy alternating, the upper edge with an inscription cartouche -- 10¼in.long, probably 17th century.
