Lot Essay
This camera was made by the Russian KGB and was used by the East German Stasi secret police under the 'Jel' name during the 1950s. Around 100 examples are believed to have been made.

A 35mm. C-64 document copying camera no. 24203057 with a Jupiter f/5.6 30mm. lens no. 9061 and enlarged film chambers, mounted above a collapsable copying board with two extending lights; two spare film chambers, German text instructions and electric controls, in maker's fitted wood case.
