A Japanese late 19th Century four-piece moulded circular tea service chased and embossed with broad friezes of irises, the teapot with rising curved spout, scroll handle and domed detachable cover with stylised melon finial - 5¾in., the lidded sugar basin with tendril and water lily handles, the domed detachable cover with finial formed as an insect perched on a pine cone, the cream jug with scroll handle, the tapering circular waste bowl with plain liner, most struck with a character mark, with a pair of matching iris sugar tongs in a plush-lined polished wood carrying case - 41oz.
