AN EGYPTIAN BLACK GRANITE SOLAR CLOCK GNOMON
Late Period, 712-332 B.C.

One side with a small inscribed shrine with cavetto cornice in shallow raised relief, another side with a shallow sunk relief of Re-Harakhty wearing a sun disc and uraeus and holding a wadj-scepter and an ankh-sign, with a column of hieroglyphs reading "Re-Horakhty illuminates the two lands with his ray," with another inscription on the slightly wider base reading "... revered before all the gods, the prophet of ... Ahmose"
