Lot Essay

Provenance: I. The Earl of Belmore, November 11, 1935 (inscription on front blank). The principal volume contains a famous view of cricket at "Caversham, through the Gateway" (10). The apparently unrecorded supplement was enlarged and published (in 1810) as vol. II of the Views.
