A FRENCH SILVER-PLATED FOUR-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH TRAY
DESIGNED BY MAURICE DUFRENE, MAKER'S MARK OF ORFEVRERIE GALLIA, CIRCA 1925

Comprising: a coffee pot, tea pot, covered sugar bowl and cream jug, each faceted circular, the angular ebony handles with reeded and disk joins, the faceted domed covers with crescent-shaped ebony finials, the tray octagonal with stepped rim, the two ebony handles carved with flutes, marked under bases and on reverse of tray and with design numbers 5853 and 5854
