A papier mâché headed doll, with moulded side ringlets and bun at back, the kid body with wooden limbs, in original pink cotton lace trimmed frock, with muslin overskirt, contained in shadow box with bocage of flowers, shells and mirrors - the box 13in. high, Circa 1850

This shadow box was taken to New Zealand circa 1850 and remained in the same family until 1988
