A Chinese theatrical coat of pale green silk, embroidered in coloured silks and metal threads, the upper section with a large scale butterfly amongst flowerheads, the skirt composed of multi-coloured streamers embroidered with flowers in gilt threads, also embellished with spangles, lined with glazed cotton, second half of 19th century; and a dancer's skirt.
