A slender ovoid vase painted and gilt with figures wrestling, sword fighting and performing Kendo, below a collar of wisteria (chip restuck) -- 5in high; and a smaller vase decorated with autumnal maple branches (chip to rim) -- 3½in high, both signed Yabu Meizan.
