A three piece garniture comprising a tripod globular koro and pierced domed cover with a kiku finial and a pair of globular vases, all painted and gilt with legendary scenes of warriors at river banks and ladies at various pursuits on terraces, on dark blue grounds of mon and flowers (some gilt rubbing) -- the koro 8in. high, signed Nihon Yokohama Hattori zo, pierced wood stands.
