An ovoid vase with short flaring neck painted and gilt with a peacock and peahen among flowering peonies issuing from pierced rockwork, the neck with shaped panels of musical instruments and furniture -- 12½in. high, signed Satsuma-no-kuni Ishuin Jusetsu.
