A lozenge shaped koro and pierced cover with a shishi lion finial painted and heavily gilt with panels of ladies and children strolling beside a lake and peonies and irises beside a river (tip of lions tail missing) -- 6½in. high, signed Satsuma-yaki Choshuzan.
