A George III style mahogany cylinder bureau bookcase, with dentil-moulded cornice and fluted frieze above a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing shelves above tambour shutter and baize-lined writing surface with blind-fret carved frieze below and two frieze drawers carved with palm fronds, fitted with slides to the sides, on square channelled legs headed by paterae and bellflowers, with pierced fret-carved spandrels -- 38in.
